How to Use the SMART Framework

Here’s how you can turn vague ideas into real progress:

Step 1: Get Specific

Ask: What exactly do I want to achieve?
→ Avoid “I want to be successful.”
→ Say: “I want to land a new client in my coaching business within 30 days.”

Step 2: Make It Measurable

How will you track your progress?
→ “Send proposals to 10 prospects per week.”

Step 3: Keep It Achievable

Stretch yourself, but be realistic.
→ “Secure 1 client this month” vs. “Become a millionaire by next Friday.”

Step 4: Ensure It’s Relevant

The goal should align with your bigger vision.
→ Is it helping you grow, serve, or simplify your life?

Step 5: Set a Timeline

Deadlines drive momentum.
→ “By April 30th, I’ll complete this goal.”
